It’s strange how people keep saying good things about you that you refuse to accept but when you finally do they call you arrogant.

Like, I’ve been called intelligent, and not just clever but the type of natural inbred intelligence where I can magically pull information from thin air without the need to study it. The type of intelligent that people envy because they can’t pass tests/exams without studying hard while I can. (I’m a lazy twat and I don’t study ever but I get good grades because, apparently, I know things.)

But I’ve never really accepted it. Like, I don’t think I’m that clever, there are millions of people who are better than me. But have that shoved down your throat for 15 years, you kind of accept it. And then people say you’re not exactly modest. Excuse me dear society, what the fuck do you want?
